I experienced a microcosm in my own campaign of what Bernie Sanders experienced yesterday: the pernicious ways they’ll use to get you off the stage when they find you inconvenient. I hope with all my heart that the American people will see through all this today.

I don't think it was a risk for Marianne. She votes with her heart. She's not trying to pick a winner for the sake of just ending up on the winning team. She's riding the long arc of history that curves towards justice.
