I hope we’re all appreciating this week how lucky we are to live in a country where we have the power to choose our president. With voter suppression, party manipulation etc that power is threatened, but fully appreciating its importance is part of what inspires us to defend it.

Do we really have that power though? It seems the party and the DNC want to decide who the nominee is going to be. Until today I thought there may be a fair fight but with Liz refusing to drop out and Amy and Pete going with Biden I believe the fix is in. I hope not.

I appreciate living in a country that doesn't require the candidates 10s of millions of $$ in order to compete for the top job.

We will have a choice as soon as the dnc is done wielding their power and manipulate the playing field so that Bernie is not on that ticket 2016 all over again...sad scary predictable...

I agree with you about having the ability, just the sheer ability to vote (what my grandmother citizens endured so I have this right... astounding). I am also learning that I have something in my Twitter tools called a "Block" feature. Giving it some use lately. Just say'in 😀

I admit i'm very worried that with Pete and Amy dropping, both endorsing Biden, that we're headed toward another 2016-like disaster. It's unfolding before our eyes.😢
