What Bernie stands for is not radical or extreme. It’s nothing more than a return to the traditional FDR Democratic Party position of always being on the side of the working people in America. Prior to the 1980s, that was considered the core of the Democratic Party.

Those in both parties who paint Bernie as extreme are doing so in order to protect an economic paradigm that puts corporations before people. THAT is what should be seen as extreme.

But shouldn't we be on the side of all people? The ones we point to as the problem or the enemy are as much a part of/with the One as anyone else. Maybe there needs to be the One Party 😁

I feel the need to point out here that FDR was behind Japanese internment and the liberal court he packed (8/9 FDR appointees on it) then upheld such internment as Constitutional. So... That's also part of the traditional "FDR Democratic Party."

Continue to believe that the typical American will see M4A or the other Bernie talking points as anything other than extreme and contrary to the "American Way", even though it's not. Trump will be able to easily message his way around Bernie, and win in a landslide.

This is about beating Trump, and unfortunately, Bernie isn't the way. The typical American is scared shitless of democratic socialism, mostly because they have no idea what it is. Bernie does a poor job of explaining it, and looks like the wild eyed radical he's portrayed as.

The new deal did nothing for ADOS just like Bernie has no black agenda. Not my vote!!!

There's only one problem, the typical voter sees this as extreme. There's a reason why an orange douchebag is POTUS right now, and that's because of the fact that the typical voter is ignorant.

Why are we still going back in time ? We need real solutions like UBI !!!

If that is true, then I wish that is the tactic Bernie would take. But promoting Socialism as your belief system, is not winning him people that are old enough to understand that there are no free lunches (or "free" college).
