This is a contest between those who feel a moderate approach will more likely defeat Trump v. those who feel a more progressive approach will more likely defeat him. I feel passion & conviction on our side will be needed to defeat the passion & conviction among Trump supporters.

You dont get it: Biden says Bernie is "pie-in-the-sky". So what we need to do is keep marching over the cliff to apocalypse, but do it in a more civil and polite manner. Biden (or Bloomberg) is just the man for that job!

Ain't no way an avowed Socialist is going to bring the independent and disenfranchised repub voters that we will need to stop trump. 2020: stop trump. 2024: fight for the issues we care about. If we don't stop trump, we'll never have a say in the issues we care about again. FOCUS

I think the main issue here is that Moderates would be more likely to come out and vote for a Progressive candidate than Progressives would be to (once again) come out to vote for a Moderate candidate. Therefore, a Progressive candidate has better chance of winning.

I think we are to the point in America where it does not make much difference who you vote for. Real change has to come from people in Congress. Ask yourself: if BS becomes the new President will congress/senate really allow him to carry out his socio-communist agenda?

My answer is a resounding NO! Ask Donald Trump about his WALL. Nowhere to be seen!!!馃槀馃槀馃槀

Moderates just don't win the presidency. A principled, enthusiastic candidate inspires down-ballots.
