Dem establishment disdains the Sanders revolution for the same reason that the Sanders revolution disdains the Dem establishment: “If you win, I lose power.” Nothing ever really changes. The story of America is a constant reenactment of the struggle between elites and the people

The irony is that the Sanders revolution, not a corporatized Democratic elite, IS a return to the soul of the Democratic Party. I’m old enough to remember when it had one so I know.

All you need to do is follow the money! If it leads back to only the people than thats true Democracy. We know which candidate that is.

How about we just disagree. I have no interest in power. I prefer incremental change. Sanders will get nothing done antagonizing Congress.

It’s all about The Commons. We all use it to make money & survive. From public schools to roads to Medicare to sanitation to public spaces to our regulators. These things have been robbed, gutted, stretched thin & defunded for 40 years. #Bernie2020 #OnceInALifetime

Sanders is NOT a democrat! He's NEVER been a Democrat!
Thoughts and prayers crystal version. Correcting the course and undoing four years of misery by the evil corrupt republicans is more important than infighting! #TrumpSlump #VoteBlueToEndThisNightmare #impeached4life

WRONG! And surprisingly cliche thinking Marianne. No one "disdains" Bernie." They simply see that the Trump machine will blast him out of the water. 4 more years.... Call it acting on Fear. There is a place for fear and this is it!

Perhaps #DemocraticPrimary voters are doing the math and remembering their recent history.

Except the #Sanders revolution bloc currently has little to no power despite being a numerical plurality (& possibly majority) among the broad factions of the American populace (others being centrists and rightists). So for us Sanders’ faction it’s “If you win we stay powerless.”
