Dem establishment disdains the Sanders revolution for the same reason that the Sanders revolution disdains the Dem establishment: “If you win, I lose power.” Nothing ever really changes. The story of America is a constant reenactment of the struggle between elites and the people

The irony is that the Sanders revolution, not a corporatized Democratic elite, IS a return to the soul of the Democratic Party. I’m old enough to remember when it had one so I know.

M, I respect you, admire you and supported you, and I believe there were a lot of ‘people’, not elites, who voted for Joe last night! Please respect them🙏

Non of the actors that you mentioned really represent the interests of the people. Politicians of all stripes seek to concentrate power.

I don’t think that’s necessarily true.

Then why exactly is he running as a Democrat?! This negates your argument! He is willing to use said system when it's to his benefit, yet insists the system is the origins of our failure as a Democratic Republic?! Hypocrisy much?!

Dem & Repub parties form an unholy alliance making it very difficult for Independents to make a serious run either for Congress or WH. That’s why George Washington warned us against political parties in his farewell address. Their near-monopoly of the political process is wrong.

Get off it. He’s got 3 homes and is worth millions. He’s been in DC for 40 years and doesn’t have much to show for it. He’s a socialist not a democrat and only identifies as a democrat when it’s good for him.

Yes--Exactly why Trump won. He was the People's choice. Now the establishment Never Trumpers (many are media pundits) are trying to take him out.

“A heartless economic system has hijacked the value system of this country. It has corrupted the govt. of our democracy-claiming our govt. is here not to secure the rights of all people-but rather to serve the profits of corporations.”
