Well...what we’ve heard from elected Dems and voters is they’re looking for a president who will be checked by Congress, not one who seeks absolute power....
The fact Bernie hasn’t been able to enact more of his vision as a Senator doesn’t say so much about him as it says about the Senate. It’s why he needs the power of the presidency; it will give him the authority to actualize possibilities he and so many of us long for.

I said NOTHING about absolute power. Last time I checked, the president gets to appoint cabinet members - approved by Congress, of course. That’s still a lot of power vested in the president - even one who doesn’t overreach and abuse, as does this one.
