The fact Bernie hasn’t been able to enact more of his vision as a Senator doesn’t say so much about him as it says about the Senate. It’s why he needs the power of the presidency; it will give him the authority to actualize possibilities he and so many of us long for.

Yes and one of the most frustrating prevailing myths is the idea that if someone rolls up their sleeves, reaches across the aisle we will get things done. Obamacare was the absolute best that could come from that strategy. We have not tried a electing whole new Congress.
