The most evolved contemporary society has elements of both capitalism & socialism, in approportionate relationship that protects both individual freedom & care for the common good. This shouldn’t be either/or but rather both/and. It’s not a binary choice in theory or in practice.

My goodness yes thank you!! The success of capitalism can easily give rise to the basics of socialism. Using expanding / increasing wealth to increase both the max and minimum of society. And it would be so easy with leaders who cared. Let me know if you need a VP next year

Yes the binary myths of the past are toxic. The Commonwealth was all about the Common Good in a capitalist democratic system. In contrast the US system is all about the $ and that value system has now infected the globe. Give me the common good any day. #Commonwealth

We’re on the border of a lawless country with tyranny. What direction do we go? We fix it, then we can have compassionate capitalism working for all. We fall for Bernie’s and the Democrats’ solutions we fall.

You're using those words in a manipulative way. Socialism is not what you think it is, and capitalism was a pejorative to describe...anti-socialists, who then took the word back as a badge of honor to describe free markets.
