Collectivized hatred aroused by fear of the “other” is one of the most dangerous forces on the planet & has been throughout history. Only force powerful enough to override it is collectivized love. Gandhi & MLK took love beyond the personal to the political; now we need to too.

Both Gandhi and MLK were deeply rooted in their own spirituality. Both of them remained openly committed to the scripture that guided their lives. They were powerful because they stuck to a single scriptural source. Their people unified around that source. It was their strength.
