Many of the people yelling “Bernie could never beat Trump!” know in their hearts that maybe he could - but they themselves don’t want it so they’re just saying that. “He’s too extreme!” What an age we’re living in, that healthcare and education and justice for all seem “extreme.”

Bernie Sanders at the top of the ticket pretty much throws FL away in Nov.. As well as some of the other very important battleground states. Sure, he and his team are strong, but Trump's team is a flat out monster with a $$$300M+ war chest. I know why DEMs are nervous.

I understand your point of view, but I think the old calculus is obsolete. Remember, Hillary spent a lot more money than Trump. I don’t think this race will be won by money but by conviction.

With respect, you encouraged me in a similar way about your campaign several months ago.

It’s so much more than that. He wants to give out all this free stuff and has no clue how to pay for it. It’s idealism with no realism. BTW, there’s a reason people who can afford it come here for medical care instead of staying in Canada.

They also chant socialist, when he is not. He is a democratic socialist. His base is People first, environment second and, capitalist economy third. His platform has never changed. Greedy selfish people have.

Not at all. Socialism just isn’t the way to accomplish them since we know it is a failed system
