Biggest problem with misuse & abuse of US military power is it leaves us w/out moral authority to apply it when it’s the right thing to do. We should use force when:US is directly threatened, an ally directly threatened, or humanitarian order of the world is directly threatened.

We need to put far more emphasis on peace-creation (which for the most part we hardly do at all). Peace is not the absence of war; war is the absence of peace. Peacebuilding is achieved through humanitarian and educational support, particularly when applied to women and children.
