Yes we need diplomacy as well as military solutions, but we need to realize undue influence of military-industrial-complex in determining our policies. More short term profit in war than in peace-building, casting a veil over eyes of the American people. We need a Dept. of Peace.

The Department of Defense used to be called the Department of War but its name was changed to make it easier to funnel endless amounts of money toward. Switch back to its original name for the sake of honesty (plus it fits a War & Peace dichotomy.)
