Difference between reparations & race-based policies is that reparations carry moral authority. They mean acknowledgement of a debt owed & willingness on the part of a people to pay it. That brings psychological, emotional & spiritual healing that actually interrupts the pattern.

The logistics of this are huge. I think the best way to pay reparations that are doable is to simply allow descendants of slaves to get a completely FREE education.
