Some say Sanders doesn’t deserve the nomination because he’s “not a Democrat.” Any American should be able to run for president, but the political parties have made it very difficult to do so as an Independent. And the party of inclusion should actually be the party of inclusion.

Sorry, no. The candidate needs to be of the party. Maybe if he took his 'revolution' out of party politics, independents might have a chance.

If you want to have a two-party system, you don't get to complain when somebody runs under your banner that doesn't perfectly fit the mold when it would be untenable for them to be elected under a different banner.

Agreed. But unfortunately we still have states with closed primaries. I live in NY and have no choice but to register as a Dem so I can be apart of the process
