Our motivation for winning in 2020 can't just be to defeat Trump. If that's all we're about then even if we do, the same forces will be back big in '22 and '24. Our motivation has got to be greater: to end an aberrational, soulless chapter of American history and begin a new one.

Trump is evidence of a profound and deep set of problems in the USA and the world right now. Like the pointer on the fuel gauge in your car, when it says “E,” you don’t grab a hammer and smash it in anger because you’re upset for what it says! You go refuel instead.

Or we don't defeat Trump and then there is no '22 or '24 or any election ever again. Let's put out the house fire before we start remodeling the kitchen.
All that can be done once #MoscowMitch is out of office & the 400 + bills on his desk get passed Reps have done their work now it’s time to get Trump out to enact them #DefeatTrump #VoteBlueNoMatterWho #SeeYaNextTime

Sounds great. I am genuinely curious as to how you propose our *entire* nation goes about this transformation. It occurs to me that one of the first coalitions need to bring about the moral transformation you call for is a caucus of churches. They are America's moral center.

In order to lead this, IMHO Marianne is at her best when she speaks as a *spiritual* not *political* leader Back in the 1980s when the Reaganites sought to dominate Central America, main stream churches rose up against him, and created sanctuaries. IMHO It's time for that again.
