First principles of non-violence: 1) Self-purification precedes political action. 2) The end is inherent in the means. 3) Even psychological violence blocks miracles. Say it however but the point is this: Democrats hating on other Democrats will help re-elect Trump #repairamerica

Trump’s power derives from his power to divide; our power to override that lies in our power to unite. Argue? Yes. Make our points abundantly clear? Yes. But threaten that if the nominee isn’t our chosen candidate then we won’t vote blue? That’s a sure way to guarantee he wins.

Blue is not a value. Pledging we'll vote blue no matter who - at this stage, before most primaries have been held and only a handful of people have voted for a nominee - undermines and waters down the values statement we make with our votes. My value is the nominee matters.

I think at that point we must suppprt a third party candidate. Bloomberg could be worse than Trump. How is he better?

is Mayor Bloomberg an ethical person?

Bloomberg doesn't have a huge blind horsewhipped cult following in the Senate and House...overriding him wouldn't be as daunting as trying to stop the lemmings from dragging the whole planet off the cliff in their race to kiss someone's "ring" .
