I haven’t endorsed anyone because there’s more than one good progressive and everyone has to vote their conscience. But I submit to my supporters that someone with no real agenda and no real vision for our country beyond a vague notion of inclusion is nothing but a corporate tool

It's odd and it's sad. And I don't think she knows the origin of the slang word "tool" or she would never use it to describe a gay man, one who has served in the military, come out, publicly married his beloved, and handled himself skillfully and well on a global debate stage.

She's an internationally renowned author who is incredibly precise with her words. There is nothing sad about calling out the establishment. It's what will save the planet and our democracy.

Marianne is speaking her own truth and many of us support her in that. If you don't appreciate her support for progressives and you no longer support her statements, use the energy you have to do outreach for the candidate you support.
Her attacks on Pete baffled me, especially with her history with the LA gay community. I am just now beginning to read things about him that I find troubling. I've read her statements up to now as buying into a lot of innuendo and conspiracy thinking. I could be wrong, I dunno.

You've followed her long enough to be open to trusting her judgment. I'm disappointed to hear you bought the establishment line on this initially. There is a lot of information out there which explains exactly why she said what she said, that's why she's getting so much support
