Nice white people wringing their hands about systemic racism but not suggesting policy changes that fundamentally alter the economic gap between blacks & whites is still refusing to tackle the primary moral issue. We need to pay reparations for slavery now.

Socially, what every American deserves is the ongoing opportunity for quality public education, employment, and health care, as well as the elimination of poverty. Longstanding American plutocracy must be eliminated if social equity is to be achieved.

How much do you want from each of us son and where do I send it or do I just hand it over to the first black person I see? Please advise.

Justice would be Democrats paying reparations. Post Civil War Democrats slowly traded plantations for inner-cities & slave-labor for slave-voting. Dem leaders kept Blacks 'in their place' as ongoing sources of white-lib-guilt and "crises" to campaign on for votes, power & money.

Why don't you start the reparations by giving people who have never been slaves your paycheck. My ancestors never had slave and I can prove it. So you can screw yourself with reparations bullshit.

Steyer agrees with you. Yang thinks his $1000 will do it. A commentator after made good point. Have to talk to middle class blacks too... not just about jail & drugs.

The negative karma will destroy us as a society unless we do something to help right the wrong.
