Question of healthcare should not be limited to M4A v. public option; issue of universal accessibility now settled for Dems. We also need a system that incentivizes health, tackles factors that make sickness more probable, and covers non-surgical & non-Pharma options for healing.

Tell your candidate you want him or her to do more than treat sickness; you want a healthier America. Add these ideas to the conversation. marianne2020.com/issues/the-…

Original Medicare sucks compared to Medicare Advantage plans. That's where private insurance and medicare administer the plans. With Advantage you get much more in the way of benefits and lower costs. It just goes to show that private ins. is better than just the gov't medicare.

That's all well and good. But nothing will happen if it's just the President pushing for it. Congress and Senate must back it. And that's not easy, as both Clinton and Obama found out.

I agree with you. But in America Big PHARMA has a strong hold and there is no money in health. That is why we have a sick care model in our country.

Thank you. This is what I’ve been saying for many years by now. “The Ecology of Care” (a Book) talks about this. My web site newhealthplan.org also talks about this. Let’s combine forces!

As your neighbor to the north. I can say a M4A system is the answer. I have never had to worry about getting medications, dental treatment, eye exams and new frames and lens every two years
