We don’t just have a gun problem; we have a violence problem. We should have as stringent gun safety legislation as possible within purview of 2nd Amendment, but we should also have a Dept. of Peace to deal with underlying social issues that make eruption of violence inevitable.

I think we need to repeal the 2nd amendment and ban the manufacture, sale, and civilian ownership of guns. Period. Americans have proven that they simply cannot be "responsible" with them.
