Doesn’t ACIM view the filter of competition (us vs them) as a sign of ego? I guess I’m wondering if there’s a more transcendent take in line with the first sentence. Could it be more about addressing the “trump” inside our brothers, ie fellow voters? He’s nothing without a base.
