For reasons I don’t understand, anger on the left more frightening to many people than anger on the right. It makes no sense since we’re not the ones carrying guns. But no matter what he does, those who resist him must practice more emotional discipline & adopt a more soulful way

I believe both ends are equally frightening. Ideology may differ but that doesn't mean the Left are lacking guns. It's the Right care too much about their hobby and therefore own an over abundance of guns. They vote to preserve their 2nd Amendment and the Left want Socialism.

Most Americans fear the ideology of socialism and its very close sibling, communism. While we fear the totalitarian regime of the right, we are also afraid of the concentration of government power. Most Americans just wished it would go back to the way it was.
