I totally understand not showing up for the speech; I totally understand walking out on the speech; I totally understand ripping up the speech. I have those feelings too. But none of those things will help us win in 2020. All of them will turn off voters we need if we’re to win.

Nancy's protest is really not a protest.

All rude, unloving behavior. What was so bad about his speech?

It was petty and childish. Would only make winning that much harder.

I wanted Democrats to deliver a more vocal response to Trump’s brazen lies. Republicans conducted themselves like it was a campaign rally. Sitting silent or walking out are not effective. Ripping up the speech wasn’t either, but maybe it will galvanize folks.

I hate to break it to you, but there's no one right answer in this case, or even most cases, and your judgment is not what I would rely in any case. So please, stop ripping into our Democratic leadership and instead focus on the Republicans who brought us to this sorry state.

The hope was the office would influence the occupant, we gave him the benefit of the doubt, praying to see and accept his innocence. He continues to descend into darkness and his approval ratings improve. Besides encouraging the largest possible turnout what would you have us do?

Your side is done. They have nothing to offer and they have terrible #'s and they keep fussing about old white people and that is what they will end up with. An old white person.

Your brand or way of thinking, which I agree with, didn’t move the needle either. Idealism is dead honey.
