I totally understand not showing up for the speech; I totally understand walking out on the speech; I totally understand ripping up the speech. I have those feelings too. But none of those things will help us win in 2020. All of them will turn off voters we need if we’re to win.

IMPRESSIVE You couldn't invent a more perfect figurehead for performative opposition than #NancyPelosi. Make masterful theatrical gestures that placate your base, fire up GOP voters, then pass Trump's agenda, including a bloated military budget, trade bill, and funding ICE.

President Trump is smart and has made all his political permutations and calculations. The only political threat he sees is Biden and he doesn't hide it. But if the Democrats continue with too much self centred politicking, Trump will and win well. Then shame the Democrats.
