This day represents the climactic moment in an accumulated pattern of both covert and overt attacks on our democracy. But think of it like Pearl Harbor or 9/11; we didn’t just crumble. Yes, people grieved...but no one doubted that we would respond. As we will respond to this.

Your putting this in the same category as 9/11 and Pearl Harbor is despicable. What a wretched, horrible thing to say.

I get the feeling you’ve never considered the Senior Executive Service and their use of the National Security State to feed, manage the swamp. Surely a deep thinker as you can visualize deeper than a lemon or an orange.

I think of slavery, the Civil War, the Civil Rights movement...never crumbled. Kept moving forward. The arc of history does bend toward justice...so long as we continue to actively and engagedly push forward. It's far from a time for passivity.
