Our Founders carefully constructed Constitutional levies that would protect us from a dictator. Unless something unexpected happens in the Senate tomorrow, it’s time to realize all the levies have fallen. There’s only one thing left now to protect our democracy - voting on Nov. 3

We will also have to make more laws that will help to restrict new dictators

Duh. At least you're not regurgitating the pre-approved loserthink talking points. I think the American People will be heard Loud and Clear on Nov. 3.

Hate to be argumentative, but there has to BE a democracy to protect. There isn't one in the US. Why do people keep saying that there is? W stole the White House in 2000, remember? Bernie was robbed in 2016. CA hasn't influenced a presidential election in my lifetime. Democracy?

If there’s one lesson to learn from this: voting is not going to save us. The levies didn’t fall. That office has rotted from the inside. Change is going to have to come from the people, not our government.

This is THE call to action of my life. No more sitting on the sidelines, but becoming active. I live in Ca so our electoral votes are assured - so now I wrestle with how to influence in especially swing states
