I rarely disagree with @marwilliamson but I’m really not in agreement with this. How can the opposite of patriarchy (male domination) be fraternity (which is also about male domination)? The opposite surely is matriarchy (female domination) as @i_am_joli_anne noted?

Opposites often have different polarities like that.
Yes! We must fraternize to discuss and resolve problems with fair solutions for all. Get the gender game out, too! People ar people! Culture is culture! Respect and communicate.
