I watched Ozzy and Harriet as a child too, but I’ve long since given up the illusion that every child in America has parents who are guiding them regarding healthy food or can even afford healthy food.

With the technology we have today, we can surely stop processing food using early 20th century means and methods. Adding electronics and robotics to the proceeding does not mean improving the method, it only means improving the efficiency.
I usually don't agree with most of your ideological thinking but your right about the food America eats. All these processed foods and fast food is making us fat and sick. When I was a kid you rarely saw overweight kids. Look at the young girls with guts that aren't even 20.
