American citizens have been trained to expect too little from our government. The resources of this country - the best in health care, education & economic opportunity - should belong to its citizens. That's what we pay taxes for and that's what we should expect.

I have volunteered in the poorest of schools and in the best of schools. What I've learned is that it depends upon the student's desire to learn. How about we hold students accountable for their actions.
