After Qassem Soleimani’s killing by American military forces on Jan 3rd, weapons manufacturer Raytheon’s stock shot up, closing at a record high. The man in charge of the Pentagon, Defense Sect Mark Esper, spent years as Raytheon’s top lobbyist before joining the Trump admin.

Before the Raytheon man, the interim Defense Secretary before him was an ex Boeing exec. That’s how it works, folks. And it will work that way until we get the money out of politics.

We must shift from an economic bottom line to a humanitarian bottom line. The Time Is Now. We Are The People.

Let's put an outsider in there, someone who knows little about the industry, and see what happens. Spending will go way down. So will the quality of our military. I suggest stopping armed conflicts through strength, not weakness

I'd like to thank $RTN $NOC and $LMT for keeping us safe. Best engineers, best technology, and yes they make money. Making money is a good thing. God Bless

Get politics out of money & you'll get money out of politics. As long as Gov't sets the rules about how much you can make or charge, or how much you have to spend, there will be rent seekers looking to rig rules in their favor

It's impossible to "get the money out of politics" as long as politics is only about helping people to make money. Reading Max Weber, Kant and Luhmann would not be bad.

You're absolutely right. Getting the money out of politics is a necessity.
