This is not just about Iran & not just about Trump. It's about the state of our humanity and the state of our Constitution. The Founders made it very clear that one person alone should NOT have the power to wage war; that's why Congressional approval is called for. Drop the AUMF!

Those going into combat had better understand that if they get seriously injured, they’re not going to get good pain control postoperatively or later if they develop a chronic condition. One more reason not to fight for a government that treats its vets like toilet paper.

This strike was not an act of war and war was not declared so relax. Remember how Obama took out Osama bin Laden? Nobody called Congress or pitched a fit that a really bad terrorist was taken out.

The greatest danger to any democracy is citizens who are indifferent, jaded, distracted or simply don't care.
