Money in politics is the cancer underlying all the others. The only way to heal it is thru public funding of federal campaigns plus a constitutional amendment. Til then, health insurance, big Pharma, gun manufacturers, oil & gas, food, chem & defense contractors run this country.

I like the idea of dividends for civil service, and think a freedom dividend for voters to contribute to non-profit platforms, would encourage middle class participation in civic duty. However, big chunks of money without intermediary between government and political party's nope

Politicians are public servants. As such should be paid by the state ONLY. No donations allowed, ever.
