America’s most important ally should be humanity itself. Our species will not survive another 100 years if we don’t move from a competitive to a cooperative mode of existence. “Me first” is an obsolete, unsustainable perspective.

I agree 100%. Let's hope we are both wrong because the chances of the world changing so drastically while people like Trump are still being elected is very slim. But hey, I doubt the dinosaurs mind that they're extinct. I doubt we will either.
