America’s most important ally should be humanity itself. Our species will not survive another 100 years if we don’t move from a competitive to a cooperative mode of existence. “Me first” is an obsolete, unsustainable perspective.

This is why leftists fail. They can't understand basic human psychology. You can no more get rid of human selfishness than you can human noses. The trick is to harness selfishness toward good rather than evil, which is what capitalism does (providing goods & services for others.)

Me first is the billionaires only perspective. Even if they know their lifespan has limits, the greed does not stop. Still we call them successful. @realDonaldTrump @MikeBloomberg @BillGates

You’re right. America has been existing in a bubble of excess for too long. It’s time to re-asses or pay the piper. 💜

You can be competitive and cooperative. Saying we need to move to a cooperative mode of existence is just another way to wrap up socialist ideas in new wrapping paper i.e. conform to the state. Being competitive encourages creativity and innovation.
