On campaign stops I ask for a show of hands if someone’s heard young people say they’re not gonna have kids cuz they don’t see how they can make it happen given the economy, environment etc. Several always do. Such hopelessness should not exist in the richest country in the world

I think a lot has to do with women being more educated, and given choices they have never been given in the past. It’s not about hopelessness. Not everyone wants to procreate and that should be fine.

I see despair as I interact with people in their 20’s and 30’s. Among the younger veterans I counsel, I hear anger and futility couched in questions like, “I gave the best years of my life, and my friends sacrificed it all for what? To witness the death of our nation and world?”

Human overpopulation is causing overconsumption, ultimately leading to current destruction of our environment and mass killing of other sentient beings. Human population control is needed more than ever. I applaud those who choose not to have children.

Such BS. The Econmy is better than it has ever been. Income up unemployment down. What’s up is cost of homes. Rents high and cost of a home is high !

Yesterday my daughter went to work with a 101 degree temp rather than lose the health insurance based on how many hours she works. In a grocery store, with the public. Only to have to leave to drive an hour to an open Urgent care when she started having meningitis symptoms.
