Think of where you work. Now think of what it would be like if there was a pattern of mass shootings at such a place.Think of what how that would affect you emotionally and psychologically every day you went to work. Then imagine what that would feel like if you were 12 years old

We think it can’t happen “to us.” But that’s the illusion. It’s already happening. There’s a difference between a random disastrous event and ones allowed, even cultivated by bad policy, greed or indifference. I support a peaceable world with @marwilliamson #Marianne2020

Very sad to think about. What is the solution?

The unbelievable reality of this is that it doesn’t seem to have any effect with certain people. It’s shocking that our children are being killed in front of us and not enough is being done. I will never understand.

That’s a good question Marianne.. here’s my question - how the hell is it possible that you are still running for President? How is it possible that ur still running but a truly brilliant candidate like Kamala is not?!?

That’s why I work from home now. I felt like I was in a mass shooting everyday amongst all the Mean Girls in the workplace, while bosses, either Mean Girls or male bosses, looking the other way.

If I have my protection I can defend my self. If it’s a place with kids there needs to be armed security. sick people do not follow laws. Law abiding people do and they need to be able to protect themselves and learn how and certify yearly

It doesn’t seem much different to me than a war zone. 🙁

I teach in a middle school. This is reality for us-lock down drills, evacuation drills, active shooter drills. Kids ask where we would escape to.Looking at the classroom setup and thinking about where to hide or what we could use as defense.

I can't even imagine this and so appreciate that you bring such compassion into the public sphere. This is where and how we remember what it means to be human. I honor you for who you are and the profound commitment you have to the greater good. #Marianne2020 #IStandWithMarianne
