Saying Iran was “fully responsible” for attack on U.S. Embassy in Iraq, Trump ordered 750 U.S. soldiers there + 3,000 more prepared for possible deployment. HERE WE GO AGAIN. Be very clear: Saddam Hussein kept Iran at bay & with our invasion of Iraq we created this entire mess

How would any American feel if we woke up to read that France, or Japan, or North Korea let's say, "ordered 3,000 troops deployed to the United States." Like, whuh...?

Our image of Commander-in-Chief must change; it shouldn't be "Cowboy in Chief" or "Brute Force Officer in Charge." That's the dangerous image that took us to where we are. We need someone who recognizes the dynamics of a perpetual war machine & understands the dynamics of peace.

Sounds like you’d just let our Embassy people remain in danger just like Hillary did. So glad we’re getting 4 more years of Trump’s foreign policy instead of Dems.

This is why critical thinkers have to adapt to situations. Princesses can sit on the sidelines and complain.

Mrs. Williamson it is not that simple. After the Iranian Revolution, America and Europe backed Saddam with the removal of the Shah. Later, with Saddam removed and debathification the Shiites now control the government and are close with Iran. West should have never backed Saddam.

Iran has been a bad actor since the Islamic Revolution in 1979. They've exported their revolution outside Iran ever since. They supported Shi'a groups in Iraq even before the Iraq War. Why do you think they're involved in Nigeria now?

The US fucked up Iran, installed Sadam in Iraq to counter Iran, then killed Sadam.

The one myth that competes with the myth of American exceptionalism is American incompetence, as in, "oh, what a mess have we created in Iraq, and now Iran can take advantage" or whatever. The reality: we create a mess ON PURPOSE, to create the excuse for continued intervention.

Do you feel the answer is to keep giving them billions of dollars? Giving them all that money has not gotten them to treat their people better or promoted less hatred of America.

I want it known here and now, far and wide that NOTHING Trump does is with my approval, permission, or agreement, tacit or direct! 😖
