I volunteer for an org that transports animals across the country to loving homes and/or no-kill shelters. Most of the time, animals are NOT treated as well as humans; however, in this situation, the animals are treated better than these foster children. We can do better.

I don't think the problem is overstated. Moving children from one bad environment to another bad environment isn't to the benefit of the children. The first problem must be addressed and in turn the second problem never exists.

Heart breaking! we have a "throw-away society". A stepfordized conditioned society that has lost its way. Money, power and greed rule the day. Many of those in power have zero compassion for children or this earth! Time for real change. Time to keep your stamina, stay strong!

Marianne, This is just one of the many problems we have with children. Foster kids really get the worst of it; when are we going to talk about SOLUTIONS AND NOT PROBLEMS. Remember that a solution to a problem cannot be found at the level of conciousness where it was created.
