When our goal is for every public school in America to be a palace of learning, culture & the arts - all green, of course - think how many jobs will be created building the schools, and how much wealth will ultimately be created because of the education children receive in them.

I think I'm going to have to disagree with you on this. Schools will never be palaces of learning until parents stop treating schools as if they were day care. Nor will schools be palaces of learning until they stop allowing parents to treat them as da care.

One other thing I learned a long time ago. Whatever the problem, More is never the answer.

Now you've done done it! Public School is Child Abduction! All i see is Texting & Testing! 15% in Public Schools are Non Tax paying Non Citizens! Colleges today are Ponzi-Schemes! Only 27% use their degrees! Public anything Sucks! A Communist-Plot!

Ummm.... How about teaching: How to balance a checkbook, How your credit score works, Sewing, Cooking, Civics, Everyday math, and personal social skills. A green job does little if you don’t know how to manage life.
