My experience of the American people is that in our personal lives we don’t like to feel we’re being played. But collectively we need the same savvy, the same psychological sophistication. An entire political/corporate system is having its way with us; only the people can fix it.

The ONLY way people can fix it is protesting in DC. Not tweeting on social media. If 300k people shows up in front of the WH they will be heard. But American people can't do it right now - too lazy, too complacent, just don't care enough. That's the real problem.

Or vote for someone for president who is saying it like it is. Where we need to march is to the polls.

Physically marching to DC is the kind of powerful, committing statement we NEED to make. Everything else, including the polls, is weak in comparison. Trump knows how superficial these messages are on social media. Trump knows people don't have the strength to actually commit.

I hope you will be speaking in Los Angeles at the Women’s March on 1/18/20!
