American society is currently on a slow & steadily quickening slide toward fascism. That is not a negative comment; it’s a descriptive one. What’s negative is to ignore it. Nothing in our history’s more important than the election next year. Complacency & cynicism not an option.

Yes Marianne the continued failure by the Democrats to accept the 2016 result is an act of fascism.

Bloomberg's call to muzzle the press and the sheer number of nudnik democrats who support him are a clear indication of the incipient totalitarianism of our times. Trump isn't the only agent in this process.

True. It has been for a long time. Has nothing to do with Trump.

I do not agree. Too many live in desperate situations and will rise if things get too out of hand.

But please vote for the party promising full government control over medicine, banking/investments, court packing, voting, speech, and guns! We're totes not fascist pinky swear!

Nothin in our history is more important? Just a little hyperbolic.

My concern is how democratic processes and the rule of law are being sidelined in the pursuit of an agenda. I don't have to agree with you on everything, to agree wholeheartedly on this.

The rise of fascism is REAL and must be met with demonstrations everywhere. REFUSEFASCISM.ORG.

"Nothing in our history’s more important than the election next year." We hear that every four years. The veracity of your statement depends on whom the Democratic Party nominates. If the party does what it usually does, 2020 November will not be important.
