As a mother I’m heartbroken; as an American I’m infuriated. I cannot and will not accept such heartlessness on the part of a US govt. agency. Someone should be prosecuted here for criminal neglect. Https://www.google.com/amp/s…

Hey Marianne, what about the responsibility of the parents? They put their son in jeopardy by trying to enter the US illegally. Do they not share most of the blame? Please respond.

Gut wrenching. My heart breaks for his family and breaks that these kinds of atrocities are happening in our country today. 💔

Something important to remember: HELPING & ALLEVIATING OTHERS IS JUST AN OPPORTUNITY TO BLESS & RECEIVE BLESSINGS. Most ppl here in the US don’t know what it means your kid’s being life threatened. And here, we judge rather than take our responsibility. @marwilliamson

As a human being that should be enough.

Do you know that it happens to American children in juvenile detention centers? That this is standard in American prisons? I know you are raising awareness, but immigrants are treated the same as Americans in prison. Please check out Winnfield, La. Cuban protests.

I can not fathom how any human being could allow this to happen. I have seen too many shocking inhumane acts on others as well as myself that make me feel like I must come from a different world. We the people who live love have faith and believe in your humanitarian campaign!
