Heard again today say that “the economy is good.”When 93 million Americans are near poverty, the economy is not “good.” When 13 million children are hungry, the economy is not “good.” When 100,000 children are homeless, the economy is not “good.” Good for but a few is not “good.”

Where are the jobs? Seems like many are either thriving in this economy or flipping burgers. Nothing in between. I know many who want to work but are unqualified for jobs out there. A real conundrum

Thank you Marianne! I’ve been serving kids in title 1 schools for 20 years. Things have only gotten worse for people in those areas. The amount of homeless people who live in the suburbs of Denver has dramatically increased, while the housing here is NOT affordable.
