The Trump administration now cutting food stamps for the poorest of the poor, after having passed a $2T tax cut for the richest of the rich. Is this what we have become as a country? We cannot be great if we are not good.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes…

This quite literally falls under "What keeps .@marwilliamson up at night" - a midnight tweet on Food Stamps. These are the issues Progressives fight for because it's what's rights, it's how to follow the golden rule. Instead a pleasing baritone + canned charisma Pete persists.

So how much are you worth Ms Williamson? And didn't a rich person help get you started? Why do you and your ilk want to demonize rich people? Yes there are some who are scum, but our great country was built on people who took risks and rewarded accordingly.

I disagree with the work requirements but, that was done before @realDonaldTrump. All he is doing is returning the waiver to work requirements levels back to when the bill was passed. The old formula was supposed to represent hardship. Due to Trump, it no longer does. He fixed it

U are spreading false information. DOA's rule on food stamps would affect able-bodied adults from ages of 18- 49 who don't have dependents. It doesn't apply to parents with minor children, elderly, or disabled people. It's meant to close loopholes for those that don't qualify

Better than food stamps, millions of the poor now have jobs and the dignity that goes along with that. Job and dignity vs shame and slavery....what's your agenda?

Who are these poor? Latina illegals from all over Mexico and the southern hemisphere?

I think you should encourage Walmart to continue to provide food to these 700,000 able bodied adults without children for free—I hear Hillary Clinton is on the board.
