In my Whole Health Plan, anytime someone is diagnosed it’s mandated that the patient receive info on suggested diet/lifestyle/natural remedies as well as pharmaceutical/surgical. Plus insurance pays for either! marianne2020.com/issues/the-…

Nurses do healthy lifestyle teaching if you give them time to do it. Right now they are pushing pills and spending overtime at computer charting.

Some Health insurance plans also already have a component that reduces the cost a little if you go to their online classes and learn about healthy lifestyle. Medicare Advantage plans sometimes include Silver Sneakers gym memberships.
