All public policy should be built around one core principle: do that which would help people thrive. Current policies - economic, educational, environmental etc - do more to thwart than support people in living their highest potential. The way to heal the world is to reverse that

And in order for people to thrive, we must first ensure that they are allowed to LIVE. Not murdering them, in the name of "choice”, when they are in their most vulnerable state of existence.

I have been thinking about how we construct and administer social aid. It feels like by giving a promise of help but then limiting that help and creating bureaucratic obstacles we actually encourage what looks like dependency.
