I have no problem calling myself a capitalist. It’s not capitalism per se but a virulent strain of capitalism that has corrupted our govt & highjacked America’s value system. Capitalism, like any public institution, should display ethics & moral consideration for people & planet.

History has repeatedly shown that capitalists cannot be long restrained by government regulations. Through relentless pressure and bribing, they get constant regulatory concessions, until they cause a collapse..then public pressure causes re-regulation, and the cycle repeats

The fiduciary duty of the Corp board system has completely broken down. There are no consequences for the board when it allows directors to violate clear canons of ethics. People understand this at a visceral level and in response voted for the despicable Trump.

I find it interesting that people place adjectives on systems as if they had a life of their own. Capitalism, or socialism for that matter, will never be what they're meant to be, if people aren't properly educated and taught moral values, merit and accountability...

I don't hate #capitalism's guts either. #Life is what it is (for now). But capitalism is strictly incompatible w #Christian morals. Perhaps that matters. Capitals mean property, & that's simply the ability to call people w guns to prevent a bro to use it against owner's will.

Sorry Marrianne, but your just wrong here. The capitalist system is dependent on the proletariat being decieved into thinking wage slavery is the only option. Capitalism is only about profit, it’s that simple.
