Excellent that Rodney Reed will not be executed next week, but it should never have had to come to that. Many have been executed who were later proved to have been innocent. The death penalty is barbaric and should be abolished.

The system is the problem. The fact that prosecutors seek convictions no matter what, and the defense seeks to get their client off, whether they’re guilty or not is the problem. A system that actually seeks the truth, rather than to convince their argument is best.

Capital punishment is a way to waste taxpayer funds and has no real impact on the well being of the public. It costs more to execute someone than life in prison. Capital punishment is a way for people to use their feelings over evil rather than use logic and reasoning.

Substitute the word abortion for death penalty and I'm with you, charlatan.
