I agree. What I would like to hear is someone talk about a reinvention of the Democratic platform because the current platform is old. It should not be a response, reaction or opposition to the right but an articulation of policies and stands that come from a democratic intention

Yes you! We don’t need to hear about big govt/small govt but NECESSARY govt. We don’t need to hear about private or public medicine but PROFIT FREE medicine. Wasn’t that the case prior to 1974? The context of these issue needs to be thoroughly explained in public than changed.
